Meditations for Spiritual Practice

As part of the expansion to the “Yoga Asana for the Month Series”, I mentioned we are now also going to include a Daily Meditation for the Month and a Yoga Breathing Exercise for the month.  In the article, Daily Yoga Exercise for February, I suggested we all include Cobra Pose into our routine and in this article today, I will suggest a great meditation technique for our daily spiritual work for February.

For those unfamiliar with this “Yoga and Meditation Technique for the Month” series, essentially, the idea is for all of us to include some great exercises and techniques into our daily practice and then to report back our thoughts and feedback regarding them throughout the month.  The goal is to learn from each other, develop our ability to do these techniques better and enjoy the benefits that daily practice brings.

Daily Meditation for February:

Originally I was thinking of starting out this new dimension with one of the most popular meditations on the planet today, Zen Meditation Technique, but I have instead decided to go with So Hum Mantra Meditation.  This is primarily because I have been getting a lot of great feedback regarding this meditation and also, since this meditation is excellent for promoting joy and peace, I thought we could use some more of that during these challenging times .

So the meditation for daily practice for February is going to be So Hum Mantra Meditation.  Below are the links you need for this technique and some thoughts on it.
